Hi! I'm Eric Schaanning (pronounced 'Skonning'), I am the Chief Risk Officer at Leonteq. Prior to this role, I held senior risk management roles at Nordea, UBS / Credit Suisse, and before that I worked for the European Systemic Risk Board (ESRB) and Norges Bank.
My research focuses on (reverse) stress testing, systematic vulnerability identification, and the psychology and processes underpinning this. I enjoy finding innovative solutions to practical risk management questions faced by financial institutions and policy makers.
